ART
The dialogue between the material object and visual experience lies at the center of my concern as a maker of places and things. Tangible objects exist as physical entities, yet the mind comprehends the sum of relationships as abstract materials, surfaces, shapes, and colors -- “abstract” because art does not exist in nature. It demands to be seen as a world of its own. Thus the dialogue is one fraught with ambiguity, both in the dynamics serving as its beginning, and in the final product, the work itself.
